We publish the article "A New Khazar Text about Oleg’s Wars" (1914).
Their content points to the middle decades of the 10th century – the reign of the Khazar king Joseph, from whom we have the already famous letter-answer to the question of Khosday Ibn Shaprut.

In the section "Publicistics" we publish an open letter from Academician M.S. Hrushevsky to the participants of his anniversary celebration on October 3.
My anniversary turned into a celebration of the victory of Ukrainian life over the repressions and obstacles thrown in its path by the tsarist government and all sorts of hostile social and national forces.

When embarking on the study of "Ruska Pravda", Getz places special emphasis on the fact that each edition of "Ruska Pravda" must first of all be studied separately.

In the section "Publicistics" we publish the closing speech by M. Hrushevsky, delivered at the anniversary meeting on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of his birth and 40th anniversary of his scientific work (1926).
I see this holiday as a manifestation of sympathy for the revival of Ukrainian culture, which has emerged from the vices and obstacles that were scattered along its previous path.

I sent him a literary letter from Kulesh, describing the ruins and antiquities of Korets and Ostrog, which was the beginning of a description of a journey through the Slavic lands.
