M. S. Hrushevsky visited Italy as a tourist three times: 5 – 18 April 1904 together with Ivan Franko, in the spring of 1908 with his family, in September – October 1911 – with family and artist F. D. Krichevsky. Impressions from trips formed the basis for his series of essays "Worldwide". All attractions in Italy, described in this cycle, we place below.
